Polak on IR with Lower-Body Injury

Blues defenseman Roman Polak has been placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

Polak played 15 minutes and 24 seconds in a 5-1 win against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night at Scottrade Center.

The Ostrava, Czech Republic native has played in 34 games for the Blues this season, registering three goals, four assists and a plus-7 rating. He also has received 24 penalty minutes.

The Blues are without forwards David Backes (upper-body), Vladimir Sobotka (upper-body), Ryan Reaves (hand) and defenseman Jordan Leopold (hand).
