The Missouri Comets defeated the St. Louis Ambush 27-6 Thursdaynight (February 27) at the Family Arena. The win for the Comets completed a 6-0 season sweep over the expansion Ambush. The victory improved the playoff-bound Comets’ record to 13-6. The Ambush, presented by Simmons First National Bank, closed out their home season with a 4-15 overall record.
Max Touloute was a one man gang for the Comets, scoring five two-point goals for a 10-point game. Milan Ivanovic, Stefan St. Louis, Leo Gibson, Stefan Stokic and Alex Megson also contributed two-point goals, while John Sosa found the back of the net twice. Corey Adamson, Mike Roach and Nick Aguilar provided the offense for St. Louis.
