The Gateway Grizzlies are happy to announce they have signed a one-year deal with Grand Slam Sports to air all 96 radio broadcasts on 590 AM KFNS during the 2014 season.

KFNS will serve as the flagship station on the Grizzlies Radio Network while 1400 AM KJFF in  Festus, MO stays as the affiliate station. KJFF will air nearly all 96 games once again this season.

“We’re excited to have all of our games on a great signal in the St. Louis market,” Grizzlies Director of Broadcasting Adam Young said. “This will allow our fans to keep close tabs on the team when they can’t attend the games, especially when the team’s on the road.”

Young, 25, returns for his fourth season as the team’s lead broadcaster on the Grizzlies Radio Network. In addition to his broadcasting duties, Young is the Media Relations Director and a Sales Executive for the team. The Waterloo, IL native also does play-by-play and PA Announcing in the offseason for SIUE, Saint Louis University, McKendree and Washington University-St. Louis.

He will be joined by recent Northwestern grad Sam Levitt on all home broadcasts and select road broadcasts. Levitt grew up just outside of New York City.

“Sam and I will strive to make every broadcast entertaining and informative,” Young remarked. “He’s a very talented young broadcaster and will fit in well on our network. We’re both ready for a great season on KFNS and KJFF.”

In addition to the radio on 590 AM and 1400 AM, fans can listen to games on www.gatewaygrizzlies.com, www.590theman.com and through the TUNEIN app on cell phones.

The Grizzlies 2014 regular season opener is on May 16th when they take on the Traverse City Beach Bums at GCS Ballpark. Season and Group tickets are on sale now. For more information call 618.337.3000.
