Life Is Precious…

by

As I lay my head down just like any other night, I just could not fall asleep. I toss and turn with many things on my mind. The typical things that run through the brain of a high school student – homework, deadlines, tests, etc.. But there was one main thing that I just could not stop thinking about..

Tonight, I keep Carlos Beltran in my thoughts and prayers. For those of you who may not have heard, Carlos’ first son has passed away…To clarify, his wife had a miscarriage, losing their son.

These things happen for so many reasons unknown. I have the farthest clue from what it’s like to have a child, let alone to lose a child. Although, I do have my nieces and nephews whom I adore dearly. If anything happened to my sweet angles, I would be so lost. I do know what it’s like to lose someone so close and dear to your heart – it simply isn’t fair.

I couldn’t imagine the pain and agony a parent feels when their child goes before them. The heartbreak is unimaginable and that’s simply how it shouldn’t work.

Carlos, we are all with you through this this time of sorrow and mourning. We will forever and always be behind you through the thick and thin.

Carlos is such a great ball player and a great human being with such a kind soul. Cardinal Nation, this is when the players need their fans the most, no matter what jersey they may be wearing. We love you, Carlos.

Keep Flying, Cardinal Nation.

Trust in the Lord….He will comfort, lift up and heal all your brokenness. He alone is the only one who can somehow turn this around for the good of those who love HIm. May He strengthen you in your weakness during this time. Sending love and hugs! He will turn your sorrow into dancing again soon. Blessings in Jesus’ name!
