Ambush Hosting Indoor Classic to Help Raise Money for Unsung Heroes

by Press Release

On January 3, the St. Louis Ambush will team up with the Unsung Heroes Soccer Organization to put on the second annual Indoor Soccer Classic. First Responders from all throughout the area will play head-to-head in a friendly soccer match in an effort to raise money for families of fallen heroes. The games begin at 5:30 p.m. at the St. Charles Family Arena.

“We’re extremely proud to be able to be a part of this event,” said Ambush owner Andrew Haines. “We appreciate all that our First Responders do and hope this event helps to raise a lot of money.”

Tickets can be purchased through participating Police and Firefighters or from Jason Corson at [email protected].
Admission is $20.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Unsung Heroes Soccer Organization, which assists families of fallen or injured First Responders.

Unsung Heroes Soccer Organization:
Unsung Heroes was founded in 2009 by a St. Louis County Police Officer who felt that there was more he could be doing to serve his community. In an effort to raise money for men and women of all areas of public safety in the St. Louis Area he began Unsung Heroes.

Unsung Heroes holds different fund raising events throughout the year for fallen First Responders such as mouse races, cookouts, outdoor soccer tournaments and their annual Soccer Classic. All proceeds from these fundraisers are donated to various First Responder Charities. The main goal of Unsung Heroes is to bring people together in a fun and family-oriented environment while giving back to those who have lost their lives protecting our communities.
