After a handful of games I can gladly say that STLFC has provided me with a better experience than any Cardinals, Rams, or Blues game that I have ever attended, and I am confident that despite your level of soccer knowledge or love for the game you will be glad that you came. The park provides something for everybody and even the worst of games will have you leaving with a smile on your face.

Saint Louis is historically known as one of the nation’s greatest soccer towns, dating back to the early 20th century in particular. Saint Louis provided 6 of the 19 men on the 1950 World Cup roster and have continued to provide some of the United State’s greatest soccer players – a sort of American farm system. Saint Louis University is also known as one of the country’s most prestigious collegiate soccer programs, and continuously provides some America’s greatest home-bred players. In the past few years Saint Louis has hosted some of the world’s best professional clubs, as well as multiple international friendlies that have set records for attendance in Saint Louis’s most accommodating of venues. Our city has been a hotbed of soccer success for years, yet we still have not been given the opportunity to house our own professional club. Buyers have come and gone and multiple times we have seen the opportunity for professional soccer in Saint Louis, but to no avail. Nevertheless, we will always have the market for pro soccer and there will always be a great amount of interest, so when the opportunity comes to prove our worth as a soccer city we must join together to fight for the cause.
