Top Five Stories to Watch NFL week 5

These early season games could play a major part on what the rest of the season looks like.

  1. Seattle Seahawks@ Cincinnati Bengals- This is the first real test for the Bengals and it very well may go in their favor since they are playing at home. Seahawks may have found some momentum winning two straight but the Bengals got that beat by double. This is a big game to watch for both teams. Either the Seahawks are going to regain their reign as the best in the NFC West or the Bengals prove they are not to be taken lightly anymore.
  2. Arizona Cardinals@ Detroit Lions- This is an interesting game to see how the Cardinals can recover from their first loss of the season. The lions are going to be hungry looking for their first win. It seems the Lions have all the talent they would need to put together a winning team but four weeks in, and the Detroit mantra already seems to be “maybe next year”. The Cardinals mean while are saying, “this just has to be the year”.
  3. Indianapolis Colts@ Houston Texans- The Texans are just a mess on offense but any team that has JJ Watt should be a feared team. The Colts are another team not playing up to their standards and this will be a big test for them. The Texans are a team that always plays them tough, this may very well decide which direction the Colts go.
  4. Cleveland Browns@ Baltimore Ravens- The purple birds got their first win last week taking advantage of a banged up Steeler team. This is a chance for them to begin the climb out of the dog house by getting another big win over another division rival. The Browns are often the team that most write off but somehow they are able to picks up win here or there. The best teams however always come away with the win.
  5. Pittsburg Steelers@ San Diego Chargers- This is a pivotal game for both teams. Both are probably going to be in the middle of the pack come seasons end and fighting for a wildcard spot. This head to head game very well could make the difference of who gets in. The Steelers are trying to make do with Michael Vick as the QB while Phillip Rivers is trying to stay relevant when it comes to being a team leader. I can’t imagine either team wins their division, and that just makes every win that much more important.
