The River City Rascals have announced that former Cardinals manager Tony LaRussa and former Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter will be making appearances at TR Hughes Ballpark in 2016.
LaRussa will be at the May 21st game vs the Gateway Grizzlies and Chris Carpenter will be at the June 25th game also vs the Gateway Grizzlies. There will be a Chris Carpenter bobblehead giveaway to fans with a box seat ticket.
LaRussa and Carpenter will each be throwing out the first pitch and addressing the crowd before their games. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase autographs and take pictures with them during the games.
Mick Lite served for 12 years in the military and is now an entrepreneur and photographer. Has worked as the official scorer and social media manager for the River City Rascals, Statistician for the Missouri Monsters and St. Louis Attack arena football teams, and as the Team Photographer and social media consultant for the St. Charles Chill, SLU Hockey, St. Louis Slam, and Gateway Grizzlies.
