Cardinals In Talks With Rays For Starting Pitcher

According to Jon Morosi, the Cardinals are talking to the Rays about starting pitcher.

It could be Jake Odorizzi who is from Highland, IL… he is 25 years old, 6’2″ 190 lbs, and started 28 games for the Rays in 2015.

He is arbitration eligible in 2017, 2018, and 2019 before becoming a a free agent in 2020.

The Dodgers have been said to be in talks with the Rays for Odorizzi too.
