In Brian Wardle’s first year as the Braves’ head coach, the team has struggled mightily, both in conference and non-conference. They have won a total of five games, the lowest of any Valley team. They have notched wins in conference games against Loyola, Indiana State, and Drake. The other additional two wins came against Ball State and Maryville. Look for the Braves to finish either 9th or 10th place in the conference and to be playing in the play-in games Thursday, March 3rd to see who moves on to the next round of the MVC tourney. However if they even win their game on Thursday, don’t expect them to advance too much further in the MVC tournament.
