After a chalk-filled first day of the GLVC tournament, the men’s side provided much more drama and intrigue on Friday. Top seeded Bellarmine was taken to the brink by No. 8 Southern Indiana but was able to survive despite coughing up an 11-point lead in the final four minutes. No. 5 Lewis gave the crowd at the Family Arena the first upset with an overtime win over No. 4 Indianapolis. No. 7 Quincy one-upped the Flyers with an overtime upset of their own. The Hawks eliminated defending champion second-seeded Drury. The night was capped by Wisconsin-Parkside taking care of business against Truman State.
