SLAM Earns WFA Playoff Bid, Hosts Houston June 25

It’s official! The St. Louis SLAM women’s tackle football franchise has reached the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) post-season and will host its first round game.

The governing body released its final rankings and playoff pairings Sunday and awarded the SLAM the top seed in WFA Tier II.

The SLAM (4-2) will host fifth-seeded Houston on Saturday, June 25 at Lindenwood University’s Belleville campus. Tickets for the game will go on sale this Friday for $10 apiece.

St. Louis ended the regular season with three straight victories to claim post-season entry.
