OVERVIEW

• Maya Taylor collected a match-high 12 kills and Mackenzie Long tied for match-high honors with 12 digs, but Dayton turned back Saint Louis 3-0 Friday night at Chaifetz Pavilion in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener for both teams.

• SLU fell to 3-11 overall, while Dayton improved to 9-6.

NOTABLE

• Sien Gallop tallied eight kills, six digs and two service aces.

• Kennedy Cordia had a team-high 16 assists.

• Maya Taylor added two service aces to her 12-kill total.

• Lauren Leverenz collected a team-high three blocks.
