THE BASICS

• Alli Klug scored her second goal in as many games in the 73rd minute to cut a two-goal Saint Louis deficit in half, but Duquesne held on for a 2-1 Atlantic 10 Conference victory Sunday afternoon at Rooney Stadium.

• The Billikens slipped to 9-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the A-10. Duquesne improved to 5-3-2, 1-1.

• The Billikens are No. 24 in this week’s NCAA Division I Ratings Percentage Index (RPI). SLU is rated fifth highest among teams that play in non-Power 5 conferences.

• Alli Klug’s goal was her second of the season, while Courtney Reimer collected her third assist of the year. The tandem is the Billikens’ 20th different player combination on 23 assisted goals this season.

• SLU out-shot Duquesne 19-9 overall and 11-4 in shots on goal. The Billikens earned an 8-4 advantage in corner kicks.

• Annabelle Copeland fired a game-high four shots and tied Maddie Pokorny for game-high honors with three shots on goal.
