Upshall deal with #blues expected to be announced tomorrow. Didn’t come to Rogers Arena tonight.

Upshall, 33, spent the past two seasons in St. Louis, where he scored 16 goals and 16 assists in 143 regular seasons games. He was with the Vancouver Canucks on a PTO, but was a late scratch ahead of Thursday’s pre-season game against the Calgary Flames.

The Blues are dealing with multiple injuries to start this season and could still possibly bring in veteran Jaromir Jagr as well.

Army on Jagr: He’s a great player, someone we’ve talked internally about, and we’ll have to talk about how players complement our style.
