Alexander Steen, who has missed 13 games (seven preseason, six regular season) with a hand injury he sustained in the club’s first preseason game, has been activated from injured reserve.
Steen will play Wednesday when the Blues meet the Chicago Blackhawks at Scottrade Center at 7 p.m.
To make room to remove Steen from injured reserve, the club has placed Wade Megan on waivers.
Last season, Steen scored 16 goals and 31 assists (51 points) in 76 games.
