Rapper Lil Wayne and hip-hop group The Migos headlined the event in St. Louis on December 29. The concert was a joint production from local radio stations 100.3 The Beat and Z 107.7. Loose Cannon SLIM (St. Louis Is Mine) also had a hand in the concert, as he has with past events including the State of Emergency tour and 314 day, which also brought major hip-hop artists to St. Louis.

Rappers Buddy Love and Doughboy opened the night performing a pair of songs each. Radio DJs and MCs kept the energy up until St. Louis’ very own Kid Goalss came on stage. The high energy girl group consists of three members, J’Den, Ce Ce, and Heavy Chevy. Although young, the group has already made a name for themselves opening for various hip-hop artists.

After Kid Goalss were done performing, Lil Wayne’s DJ took over the show and played a compilation of the rapper’s songs from various albums. Although it’s been six years since his last album in ‘Tha Carter’ series was released, the rapper has plenty of hits to pick from when performing on stage. Throughout his entire performance it was clear that there were plenty of Lil Wayne fans in attendance. On numerous occasions he was able to take a break and gladly let the crowd finish his lines for him. He finished off his performance with one of his newer hits ‘No Worries’ and Chance The Rapper’s ‘No Problems,’ a 2017 hit which he was featured on.

The Migos concluded the night with hits from their album ‘Culture.’ Group members Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff took the stage wearing their always eccentric outfits and accessories. They performed hits such as, ‘Fight Night,’ Bad and Boujee,’ ‘Slippery,’ ‘Get the Bag,’ and ‘Motorsport.’ When finished, the group stated that their next album, ‘Culture II,’ will be released in 2018.
