St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled defenseman Chris Butler from the American Hockey League’s (AHL) San Antonio Rampage under emergency conditions.
Butler, 31, has dressed in 60 games for the Rampage this season, leading the team’s defense with 29 points (eight goals, 21 assists). The 6’1, 196-pound defenseman has also played in two games for the Blues. A native of St. Louis, Butler was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 16, 2014.
