Friday’s Chiefs Game Postponed

Burlington, IA – The game between the Peoria Chiefs and the Burlington Bees scheduled for Friday night at Community Field has been postponed due to cold weather. Since the Chiefs do not return to Burlington in the first half, the game will be made up as part of a double header at Dozer Park at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30.

The Chiefs and Bees are scheduled to play the Dozer Park opener on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. with a Magnet Schedule giveaway and Signature Saturday. The Chiefs are expected to now start RH Johan Oviedo (0-0, 0.00) who is ranked among the Cardinals top 30 prospects by both Baseball America and MLB Pipeline.
