by Mick Lite

Saint Louis concluded its spring exhibition season on a high note Sunday, defeating the Saint Louis FC reserves 3-1 at Hermann Stadium.

Anthony Brown, Leo Novaes and Spencer Jones scored for Saint Louis.

The Billikens, coached by first-year head coach Kevin Kalish, finish the spring season with a 2-1-2 record. They picked up wins against Northern Illinois and Saint Louis FC, played to ties against national finalist Indiana and Missouri State, and suffered their lone defeat at Xavier.

Saint Louis now sets its sights on the 2018 competition season, which kicks off in August.
