ODESZA’s concerts on April 26 and April 27 at The Pageant sold out. The EDM superstars’ shows came to St. Louis as part of the “2018 A Moment Apart Tour”, which spans cities across the world. With them, they brought Pluko and Kimbra, both proving to be a a quality lead-up to the headliner’s set.

Countless drops accompanied by great live shows consumed most of the evening. This is typical of EDM, but a thing to note about Odesza is their use of a drum line. This drum line takes the stage several times during their set, driving the fans into frenzy. Notably, the loudest crowd reactions were for the drum line.

While The Pageant’s stage is smaller than most of their set ups, the design was flawless and lights were perfectly executed. The hexagon also cast a spotlight on Harrison and Clayton’s podium on stage, putting them in the center of everyone’s focus.

The design, lighting techniques, and live instrumentation with their drum line created a unique experience that sets Odesza apart from other EDM artists and groups.
