Last Call: St. Louis kisses Vans Warped Tour goodbye on its final run

by

After 24 summers under the sun, St. Louis kissed the Vans Warped Tour goodbye with a hot, sticky day under the sun at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater on July 3rd.

Prior to announcing the 2018 lineup, Kevin Lyman, founder of the Vans Warped Tour,  posted a heartfelt letter on their website announcing that the 2018 tour would be the last cross-country run of the 24-year tradition.

With lineups over the years featuring artists like No Doubt, Sublime, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Katy Perry, and many more, the Vans Warped Tour quickly became a launching pad for future successes in the music industry.

The 2018 lineup, featuring headlining bands like Simple Plan and The Used, is chocked full of Warped-vets commemorating Lyman’s work to build an empire over the last 24 years, often stating that their bands would be nowhere without their time on various stints of Warped Tour.

Lyman has hinted at commemorating the 25 year anniversary of its foundation next year with a one stop festival.
